Stuck in a Blogging Rut

I’ve been stuck in this blogging rut since I’ve started about 2 months ago. I’m following a few blogs, but I feel like I don’t have the potential they have. I’ve been reading on the internet how to get blog traffic to your site, such as commenting and doing guest blogs. I can’t say the information hasn’t helped, guess I’m just expecting a little more. I’ve been commenting on blogs that inspire me, and pondering about good post ideas. And the whole guest blogging is just intimidating to me. So, I must be doing something wrong!

With that said, I know everyone has been in my place at one time or another, so how did you start? Any recommendations? How long until you start to see comments? Any and all information will be appreciated.

Some blogs that inspire me, just to name a few: Centsational Girl, Velvet and Linen and Adventures in Renovating a Brooklyn Limestone

All bloggers go through a bloggy rut every once in a while.
Just keep blogging. You'll get through it!
I'm glad you are enjoying my blog. Thank you for the shout out :)

Happy weekend.

Hi Sarah! I'm new to your blog. Nice to "meet" you! This is the first post I've gotten to but can't wait to read more.

I haven't participated in a guest blog yet...but I do think that commenting and getting out there to meet others helps. I visit each person that comments/follows and have discovered some awesome blogs and made a lot of friends. I think linking to blog parties helps introduce yourself to others too. I know patience isn't one of my strengths...I always want results overnight. DIY-ing home improvements is helping to "teach" me patience though. haha

Have a great weekend!
Best of luck! :)
