Hi friends!
We’re on baby count down, only 6 days left until my due date. I wonder if he’ll make an appearance this week! In other news Andrew and I went on a garden tour a few days ago. And to think we did all this walking and no baby, some wives tale that is.
Maple Rock Gardens is a beautiful 30 acre ranch located in Northern California. The homeowners have spent many years landscaping and tending to their lovely garden. Once a year they open their home to the public to view their oasis in the foothills.
I’ll let the pictures tell the story.
Handcrafted birdhouses were sold and proceeds were donated to a local breast cancer foundation.
Miniature trains ran through their landscaped property.
We sipped on freshly squeezed lemonade.
Many pathways lead to hidden meadows of grass and sitting areas.
Pictures simply can’t do this garden its justice, it was far more amazing in person.

Very lovely! I like the mini-train running through! My cats would spaz out if we did something like that :-) In the Northeast, we have lots of little historic neighbors and garden tours are quite common. I love looking at other people's gardens for inspiration every chance I get!
